Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cut fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon cut fresh dill
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt.
4. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is lightly browned.
5. Flip the salmon fillets and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
6. While the salmon is baking, make the lemon butter sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, and dill, and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
7. Remove the salmon from the oven and transfer it to a serving platter. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the top of the salmon and serve.
