1. Biological oxygenation. The oxygen released by photosynthesis of aquatic plants and phytoplankton in the grass tank, and the rise and fall of aquatic plants play an important role in the dissolved oxygen in the water. Under normal circumstances, the dissolved oxygen of the grass tank is higher than that of the bare tank.
2. Mechanical oxygenation. Forced oxygenation through air pumps, submersible pumps, etc. Forced oxygenation by air pump is our main oxygen supply method.Such as paddle wheel aerators,diesel aerators,solar aerators,jet aerator or surge aerator,aerotube aslo working in good performance ,many farmer applying aerotube to replace aerators now .
3. Chemical oxygenation. Add chemicals to increase oxygen. The chemical oxygenators currently in use mainly include calcium peroxide, peroxide, and ammonium peroxydisulfide.
4.Change water and increase oxygen. Replacing new water can increase the amount of dissolved oxygen. In the process of water change, the water flow through a certain flow and drop can increase the amount of dissolved oxygen.
The saturated oxygen content in the water depends on the degree at 20°C. Under normal circumstances, the saturated dissolved oxygen concentration is 8-9mg/L at 20°C. The value of saturated dissolved oxygen in water is also affected by salinity.
In natural water, the concentration of oxygen is generally lower than the concentration of saturated dissolved oxygen. This is due to the presence of organic matter in the water (especially polluted water), and microorganisms (bacteria) can use the organic matter to grow and consume some oxygen in the water.
