How to build circulating water culture system of your pond (IPRS)

一、Flowing water aquaculture system facilities China's pond culture mode was developed in 1970s. In recent years, many traditional culture ponds are faced with outstanding problems such as deterioration of water environment, aging of culture facilities, frequent occurrence of culture diseases, and increasing of hidden dangers of aquatic product quality and safety year by year. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of low-carbon and high-efficiency pond recycling aquaculture technology, the original ponds should be renovated and transformed before the construction of flowing water aquaculture facilities.

1. Renovation of old pond When rebuilding the old pond, the silt and dirt should be thoroughly removed, and the small pond should be changed into the big pond. It is suggested that the area of large ponds should not be less than 30 mu, otherwise it will increase the unit investment cost of running water tank. The pond should also consider whether it is beneficial to wind to stir the water surface and increase dissolved oxygen, so as to reduce the energy consumption of oxygen increasing and water pushing equipment in the pond. When the pond is reconstructed, it should be considered that the top surface of the pond ridge has a certain width, which is generally 3m ~ 5m. The slope ratio of the bank is 1: 1.5 ~ 1: 3.0, which depends on the soil quality, depth and slope protection of the pond. When conditions permit, it is suggested that slope protection should be carried out in large ponds for fish farming with flowing water, so that the ponds can be used year after year, and there is no need for dredging maintenance in dry ponds. At present, the commonly used slope protection materials include cement precast slab, concrete, impervious membrane and so on. After the renovation of the old pond, it is necessary to ensure that the pond does not leak, and the water depth is maintained above 1.6m all the year round, because the yield per unit area of the flume is closely related to the water depth and water volume ratio of the whole pond.

2. IPRS pond conditions Running water fish ponds should choose areas with sufficient water sources and no pollution. It is better to consider the use of terrain self-flowing drainage to save the energy cost of power water lifting. The water quality of aquaculture water must meet the requirements of GB11607-1989 Fishery Water Quality Standard. Running water fish ponds should be built in places with stable power supply and convenient transportation.

3. Design and construction of IPRS system The pond circulating flowing water culture system consists of flowing water fish tank, waste precipitation collection pool, fish barrier, oxygen increasing and water pushing equipment, bottom oxygen increasing equipment, pollution absorbing device, diversion facilities, automatic feeding machine, fishing net, standby generator, automatic monitoring and alarm device, etc.


二、The main oxygen increasing equipment

1. Air-lift oxygenation and water pushing equipment: Air-lift oxygenation and water pushing equipment is one of the most important equipment to determine the success or failure of pond circulating water culture system, which is usually called the heart of pond circulating water culture system. At present, the air supply modes of the system include centralized air supply and independent air supply. In the micro-hole air-lift type oxygen-increasing water pusher system, the aeration pipe and blower are the core accessories, and they restrict and promote each other in function. The efficient and durable blower can overcome the ventilation resistance of the aeration pipe and continuously input air into the aquaculture water body. Low-pressure, porous and unblocked aeration pipes can also ensure that the blower is not overloaded and runs safely and continuously in the working process. On the contrary, the low efficiency and durability of the blower or the blockage of the aeration pipe will cause the aeration and water pushing system to fail to operate normally, which will directly threaten the life safety of cultured fish. Especially, special attention should be paid to the selection and matching of these two core accessories in the high-density intensive IPRS culture system. 2.Use our aerotube disc aeration system . In addition to the independent microporous air-lift oxygenation and water pushing equipment installed at the upstream of each running water fish tank, stratum-assisted oxygenation facilities should be installed in each running water tank to prevent the death of anoxia caused by excessive fish loading in the later stage of culture. In addition, the formation oxygenation facilities can also be used as an oxygenation measure for emergency remedy, and can also play the role of cleaning the bottom of the running water tank when necessary. In addition, in the process of disease prevention and treatment, the upstream oxygen-increasing and water-pushing equipment can be temporarily shut down, and the formation auxiliary oxygen-increasing facilities can be opened, so as to avoid stress caused by lack of oxygen in fish and improve the drug effect.
 


三、Since 2013, many years' practice shows that the pond circulating water culture technology is beneficial to realize the large-scale, intensive culture, factory and intelligent management of outdoor ponds, and conforms to the healthy and sustainable development concept of Chinese aquaculture industry, thus realizing the green development goal of modern aquaculture industry with low carbon, high efficiency, energy saving and emission reduction, quality safety and environmental friendliness. Pond circulating water culture technology has been widely popularized and applied in many provinces and cities in China and even all over the world. At the same time, IPRS technology has been listed as a key point in many provinces and cities, and modern aquaculture technology is being popularized and applied. According to incomplete statistics, in 2017, the area of IPRS trough in China reached more than 300,000 square meters. At the same time, we are also exploring new ideas, new models and new technologies of IPRS+ to further improve the comprehensive benefits and technical potential of IPR technology. The future development trend of pond circulating water culture technology is standardization, scale, intelligence and industrialization (referred to as IPRS "four modernizations").
